The Ponticello bench plays with a motif of a recognisable everyday object, expressing in macro form the tiny engineered details that are not always noticed. The strong, distinct form is softened with pencil round and chamfered edges and pitched seat which is comfortable and attractive. Great for placing at the end of a bed, in an alcove or near the front door for putting on shoes and socks. Equally useful as a stool or longer bench seats for casual dining.
